Description
Produced from September 1967 to April 1972 only 803 examples of the DBS were produced making them rarer than the DB5.
Only 317 right hand drive cars were equipped with the manual five speed ZF gearbox and this example was 1 of 180 produced in 1970
First registered to Mr N Ermini in 1970 and specified in Roman Purple with scarlet. In its early life, the DBS enjoyed some racing action finishing 3rd at a J.D.C. event in Donington in 1977 and in the same year finishing 2nd at Brands Hatch.
It underwent significant restoration work back in the 1990’s under the ownership of Mr J Ashfield. He cherished the car for nearly 20yrs before it was purchased by the current owner who embarked on creating the ‘ultimate’ DBS
In 2013 he entrusted RS Williams to restore and upgrade the car, the subsequent work costing over £215,000
Mileage upon completion was 15,684 and current mileage is 19,919 – only 4,235 miles completed since restoration.
This DBS Vantage featuring triple Webers is finished in Olive Green with beige and featuring amongst many other upgrades, our superb 4.7ltr engine.
Featured in Classic & Sports Car from November 2019 and more recently in Aston Martin’s celebration of 70yrs of the ‘Vantage’ name
