Description

Introduced in 1973, the 'Series 3' employed a quartet of Weber 42 DCNF carburettors instead of the previous Bosch mechanical fuel injection, the change bringing with it increased torque and necessitating a larger bonnet bulge.

This 1977 AMV8 ‘S’ Saloon started life as a Blue, Right Hand Drive AMV8 Saloon with a factory automatic gearbox and ‘S’ specification, residing in different areas of the midlands in Great Britain from November 1st, 1977 to 2019.

However, this V8 was destined for fame when it was selected by Aston Martin Lagonda to be a part of the film car fleet for Antoine Fuqua’s Infinite movie. Converted along with 6 other AMV8s to LHD with Green paint, V8 Vantage aesthetic upgrades and Mexico City number plates. One of 30 Brand new and heritage cars donated by Aston Martin and used to portray the main protagonist, Heinrich Treadway’s, vehicle of choice, we believe this is the only surviving AMV8 as it was used as the ‘Hero’ car during filming.
